Mr Machin is the Clinical Director of Orthopaedics, joint Lead for trauma and Associate Director of Foundation Training at the Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Machin concluded his orthopaedic training in an internationally recognised higher surgical training fellowship at Wirral University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, during this fellowship he received advanced training in the management of complex elective, revision and trauma foot and ankle conditions.
Prior to this he completed six years of specialist orthopaedic training in the Mersey Deanery, rotating through many of the local hospitals, including the regional trauma centres. This followed on from his core surgical training after qualifying with Honours from The University of Liverpool School of Medicine in 2003.
Mr Machin has been providing expert orthopaedic opinion in personal injury cases since 2013, and has now reported on over 2,000 cases. He receives instructions from a wide panel of solicitors up and down the United Kingdom.
Mr Machin can examine clients in all of his private rooms listed below, and is pleased to receive instructions directly from solicitors.
